First Area Designed- Devlog 10 (27/11/2022)
Hello all! Conor is back again with a much smaller update than usual
We shall give a fair warning that our next devlog will probably not be posted until mid-December when we will unveil our vertical slice, you guys! We have been down in the trenches, working hard to get that to you all. To give you a taster of what's coming and hopefully give you something to gleam your eyes on, here's a level! (See above)
This will be the first area the player will start in and it's what will be shown for the vertical slice. A mixture of open areas of exploration and tighter corridors for more tense moments. There is also a good smattering of hidden alcoves and tunnels to collect upgrades and resource replenishment. Most likely, this will not be the exact level you will see in the vertical slice as level design is an iterative process, but it's what we'd like to present.
The team and I are really excited about this game. It's shaping up to be a great one I feel.
