Hey everybody! Conor is back and here to say thank you for playing the demo! Your feedback was very useful and with that, we have crafted some patches from it and made a new build for you to play!
Grappling Hook
The biggest problem many folks had was how the grappling hook was handled. With that in mind, here are the various fixes to the upgrade module.
- Grapple Hook length raised: 10 > 20
- Grapple Hook travel speed raised: 5 > 10
- You no longer need to repress the grapple hook button to complete grappling actions.
- A glow on the object will indicate if you can grapple onto it.
- Grapple Hook no longer freezes the player if it gets destroyed on the way back.
- Grapple Hook gets destroyed on non grapple objects
Map Visibility
The hologram effect and the stage itself made it hard to read the map, so we got onto fixing that.
- The stage no longer makes the map invisible.
- A glow effect was added to the map, along with a blinking "glitch" effect.
- Hologram line alpha transparency increased: 0 > 0.8
General Fixes
Other fixes that we managed to get to based on the feedback
- Standard Shot Module (Pistol weapon) readjusted to be projectile based.
- Max Air increased: 100 > 300
- Aiming laser alpha decreased: 1 > 0.2.
- You can now restart the scene with the R button
- Mape Open/Close has been changed to Tab
